I decided that since we’re moving to start cleaning stuff out, including the attic. I thought I could go room to room, attic included that I could get rid of the junk and make the house more ready to sell. I had one of those HUGE zipper bags, like the ones you use for a food saver and I had one of those big huge boxes that they use for moving that is FULL of stuffed animals. I was able to get Coop to get rid of at least 3/4 of them. I was like dude, I’m so proud of you for getting rid of those. I still can’t believe that he did it. Usually it’s impossible to get rid of all these toys and things that belong to him. He’s horribly sentimental.
Our attic is odd shaped. It’s slanted where it gets narrow the further from the door you get. It’s maybe a 8×8 space or so. Every time I go in there I bang my head, hard. I hate going in there. I get creeped out that I might touch something gross…or maybe a spider will get on me. Oh man, I just can’t stand the thought. Luckily there’s only 3 or 4 more boxes of junk in there. This means ALMOST DONE, YAY!
About this recipe, it’s great. It’s really good. I think that the fact that this is so simple and easy is my favorite part.
4 pork chops
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 cups unsalted butter
4 garlic cloves
1 lb green beans trimmed
Melt butter in a pan. Salt and pepper the pork chops. Add paprika. Brown pork on both sides. Remove from pan and put into a plate. Add green beans and saute until almost done. Push beans to the side and add pork when beans are at the halfway point. When beans are almost done add garlic and stir. Serve. Yum.
