Philly Cheese Steak Pizza

The other day I told you Coop and I made pizza. Here it is. He doesn’t like to help a lot, but when I make pizza, he’s there. I love spending time with him, so I’m always willing to do things that will get him to spend time with me. It’s really easy to make your own pizza. If I could make bread, I’d probably make my own pizza dough, but I can’t. I’ve tried to before, but its just gross. It tastes like nothing. I buy my regular ol’ store bought in the refrigerated section pizza dough.

I wanted to post this yesterday, but we went to my parents house. My dad bought some electronics that he wanted hooked up and they asked the hubby to install it. We usually cook over there when we go, but this time we went and picked up food from a place called Bocelli’s. They’re ok. Their pizza is my favorite, but we had pizza last night, so I got baked Ziti. I didn’t realize it didn’t have a meat sauce, so poor hubby had a meatless dinner. It’s good for you to do that sometimes, but he’s not a fan. Needless to say he ate it anyway. I hate that their menu isn’t specific about stuff sometimes. I rarely buy pasta there though. If we go there, we generally will buy pizza.

Sorry it took me so long to post this….try it out and enjoy!

Pizza dough of your choice

Mozzarella Cheese

Alfredo sauce

frozen philly cheese steak meat (found in the freezer section)

1/2 onion

1/2 green bell pepper

salt and pepper

Chop onion and peppers and sauté in a pan with a little olive oil. Once the onions are translucent add the meat a little at a time. Chop up as it cooks. Add salt and pepper to your liking. Bake your pizza dough to the directions. Add alfredo sauce. Top with cheese and then meat. Bake until cheese is melted. Serve!

  1. Hi Heather! Is the pizza dough fresh? I don’t know what your grocery stores are like there but here we a section that has freshly cooked meals like chicken and pizza ect. What a lot of people don’t know is that you can ask them for their fresh pizza dough that they use. Here, it costs about $2. You can use it right away or it freezes well. xo

    1. Interesting!! We can purchase dough in the freezer section too. I just never have, because I’m a horrible planner. I plan a menu for our month, but then I might cook something I planned at the end of the month at the beginning…just because I think it sounds good LOL. I’ll have to check into this though. It’s a neat idea. I just bought Pillsbury from the fridge section!
