Garlic Herb Chicken


I’ve tried this recipe a few times and I finally figured it out. It really needs to be browned. Without being browned it tastes just flat. I can’t even describe it. It just tastes horrible. If you get a good even brown on it, it’s super good. I love the show Worst Cooks in America and I get tickled when Anne does the cookie monster voice and says brown food is good food.


1 1/2 cup chicken broth

1 tablespoon cornstarch

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 tablespoon olive oil

4 minced garlic cloves

1 1/2 teaspoons parsley

1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes

1 teaspoon onion powder

salt and pepper

Mix broth and cornstarch. In a pan head olive oil and saute chicken until golden brown. Add garlic. Cook until done. Remove chicken. Add broth and spices until thickened. Add chicken.
