I’ve been trying to be a better mom lately. I’m reducing the take out, trying to do as little processed as possible, and actually waking up at a decent time to make an actual breakfast. I don’t always get the no processed things, but I generally am able to reduce the amount of processed foods in our life. I’ve made this a few times over the years. I probably found this recipe on some kind of random blog and then changed it to suit my own needs, but I am the worst to scribble down a recipe and not say “got it from here”.
It’s the end of the school year, which means the end of scout year for us. I’ve been so swamped that lately I think I have been doing more reviews of products than anything. What makes me so mad is that I just simply can’t keep up with my own needs. I’m having to take 5 minute showers, which ya’ll that’s hard work and getting clean too! Psssht…for the birds! I’ve been working from sun up to sun down cleaning house, cooking, organizing events, getting Coop ready for EOG time (I’m so against EOG..another story- another day though), trying to get last minute ends tied up for summer planning, working to get the calendar ready for next year, and then that’s just half of it folks. It’s just very overwhelming. I look forward to the end of the school year. It means everything is going to be done and I can just rest! Right now, Coop and Michael are lucky to have clean underwear!
