This recipe was handed to me from a friend. Oh grief, I don’t like lemonade at ALL, but this is AMAZING. It’s so good and so inexpensive to make, I’m planning to make it for our crossover ceremony for cub scouts. Hopefully it’s a hit there, but I’m telling you 7-11 year old boys are vultures. They’ll eat and drink almost anything. Last week at scouts, we had a pack meeting. Our pack has decided that our pack will provide a “celebration” cake/cupcakes/cookie cake for these meetings as a once a month celebration of birthdays. It was two other mom’s and me in the kitchen and here we are making lemonade (the regular kind) and cutting cookie cake…as fast as we could get it cut and get the drinks poured they were coming in two’s. It was crazy. I literally felt like I had a stampede heading in my direction. I didn’t know if I should pour drinks faster, duck, or turn and run too. In the end, we saved the day. The three of us pulled it off and all 40 or 50 people who were there had cookie cake and lemonade if they so desired.
1 cup country time lemonade mix
3 cups cold water
46 oz chilled pineapple juice
2 cans of sprite
Mix all together!
