Facebook gave me the idea. I wont lie. I seen some recipe where they made this recipe. I didn’t like the recipe, because it was pretty sugary. I’m not very crazy about those high sugar items. The only sugary part of this one is the syrup. What I did was I was too lazy to buy the uncooked sausages, so I bought the cooked one. I cut off the crust to texas toast and just flattened it with my hands and rolled it around the sausage. I didn’t use all the extra tools and such. I’ll say Coop loved it. He right away says “mom can we have this tomorrow too?”….LOL! That tells you he liked it just fine. There’s not much that he doesn’t eat.
Precooked sausage, heated
texas toast,, same amount as sausage, crust removed
1/2 cup milk
Flatten bread and roll around sausage. In a bowl combine sausage and milk. Dunk the sausage bread mix into the eggs and milk mixture. Put butter in a frying pan. Once melted add the bread and brown on all sides.
