Have you ever had those Facebook shared recipes pop up on your page and think…holy cow, I need to try this? This is one of those recipes. I can’t figure out who the original poster of this recipe was, or I’d give them massive credit, because it’s awesome. If you read my blog and this is your recipe, feel free to contact me! I definitely want to give credit where credit is due. Anyway folks, this recipe is so good. I’ve made it a good handful of times. I think that my biggest love of this recipe, besides the taste, is the fact that it isn’t expensive to make and I can throw it together in the oven and it’s done.
One other thing I want to mention about this recipe. I sent my husband out to buy soup that it calls for, but he came home with cream of whatever and it was STILL good! Don’t think you can’t change up the cream of soups. It totally works. Enjoy ya’ll!
2 boxes uncle ben’s wild rice original recipe
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of celery soup
1 can water
Mix everything together and cover and bake at 350 degrees. It originally calls for 60 minutes of bake time. However, I cook until the rice is done. Otherwise it isn’t so great. You can add another can of water for more creamy rice.
