Teriyaki Chicken Wings

I’m not a fan of boned chicken. I don’t know what the deal is, but I find it naaaasty. However, my boys LOVE it. I decided to give it a go. Here’s how it turned out. They ate them all up! Yes, this is what happened. I got 2 of them. They devoured all of them.

A few things I have weighing on my mind.. First off…GUYS I’m almost to 100 followers. How awesome is that? I’m ecstatic. Second…as many of you know we’ve been doing foster parenting classes. We’re almost done, finally. I’ve never been so challenged to think outside the box as I have with this process. It’s been the best. Unfortunately, we keep having to make up classes. Our son has had more illnesses this winter than he has in the last few years. I’m glad this crazy winter is pretty much over. It’s almost May and usually by now we have our air conditioning on. How’s the weather your way?

teriyaki marinade of choice

Pat wings dry with a paper towel. Line on a wire cooling rack. I like to put the oven on broil. It takes about 15 minutes or so for the chicken to turn brown and you’ll notice lots of fat being cooked off. make sure to flip and do the same to the other side. Afterwards I bake them until they are tender. Once they are tender I toss them in my marinade of choice. Today was teriyaki.

  1. I hope that you and your husband do well in all of your endeavors! It’s amazing what you are doing. As for the weather here in Ottawa, Canada, we are so behind in the warm weather department. Not that I can feel it but my Aunt told me that this week she woke up and there were flurries falling. In May! What have we done to our planet? All the best xo

    1. We have had a few good snows here in NC this year. Our kids are going to be in school a few days longer, because they’ve missed too many days. Do you get to venture out very much? I know very little about your condition. Most of what I know- I’ve learned through you!
