Skillet Herb Roasted Chicken

I was in a big jam and I knew it. The last few nights we weren’t eating dinner until 8pm, sometimes almost 9pm. Every year this happens. I either get busy for a while, or the time change throws me off. In this case, it was the case of the busy blues. I was desperate. I searched and searched for a recipe. Then I remembered that I had this recipe that I got from Campbell’s one time. I figured, oh why not, I had all of the ingredients.  It turned out pretty good. Everyone ate it up. C even said mom, this stuff is good!

4-6 pieces of thin cut chicken

2 tablespoons all purpose flour

1/4 teaspoon ground sage

1/4 teaspoon ground thyme

2 tablespoon butter

1 can cream of chicken soup

1/2 cup water

Mix flour and spices. Dredge the chicken and put in a pan with butter melted. Brown on each side for about 15 minutes until chicken is cooked through. Remove from pan. Add soup and water to the pan. You can add the chicken, or scoop the gravy over the chicken. Enjoy ya’ll!

    1. Some of the recipes you can revamp. You don’t have to use prepackaged. Make your own everything…It was actually really good. I was surprised because I thought it’d be just meh…
