Heavenly Chicken

A little about my day….It was murderous. Just kidding ya’ll…but it was rough. My husband and I are in the future taking in foster children. Obviously, I’m not able to disclose a lot about this….but we’ve been preparing before we get our license. We figure even if we decide not to do this, this bedroom needs to be redone. It’s horrible. The room we painted was RED! It was so dark in that room! I painted it a color called Santa Fe. It’s a neutral creamy pinkish brown shade. I love this color because it can be used for a boy or a girl. It is a process from how things sound so far. It is definitely an adventure. I’m really happy that I get to chase this adventure with the loves of my life.

6 boneless skinless chicken breasts

8 oz swiss cheese

2 10 3/4 oz cans of cream of chicken soup

1 3/4 cup stuffing mix

1 cup butter, melted

Place chicken breasts in a lightly greased baking pan. Arrange cheese slices over chicken, covering to edges. Spread soup over cheese, extending to edges. Sprinkle with stuffing mix. Drizzle melted butter over stuffing. Cover and bake at 300 degrees for one hour. Uncover and continue to bake for an additional hour. Serves 6.
