I’ve posted before that we love Asian foods, but we don’t really get them too much. Here’s another one of my favorite recipes. I love beef and broccoli. Hope you love the recipe ya’ll!
1/4 cup hoisin sauce
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1.5 lbs steak, thin sliced
1 lb broccoli florets
2 carrots, peeled and cut into matchsticks
1/2 onion thin sliced
Whisk hoisin, 1/4 cup water, and soy sauce together in a bowl. Set aside. Combine 1 teaspoon oil, ginger, garlic, and red pepper flakes in a small bowl.
Heat 1.5 teaspoons oil in a skillet over high heat until just smoking. Add half the beef. Cook until beef is browned around the edges. Transfer to separate bowl. Repeat until all the beef is cooked. Heat remaining 2 teaspoons oil in the skillet over high heat. Add broccoli, carrots, and onion and cook for 30 seconds. Add remaining water. Cover and let steam until crisp-tender. Push veggies to the side and add ginger garlic and cook until fragrant. Stir into veggies. Return beef and any juices to the skillet. Add sauce and stir until sauce is thick.
