Mamaw’s Broccoli Casserole


When I was a kid my grandmother used to make this all the time for us. My mother makes a broccoli casserole too. I loved them both, but mamaw’s always tasted better. I’m not sure why, but it does. I have  so many good memories with my grandmother. She is the best grandmother I have.  She was caring and loving. There wasn’t ever a time she didn’t take care of things that I needed.

One sleeve of ritz  crackers

Velveeta cheese

1 can of cheddar cheese soup


Steam or boil broccoli. Put broccoli in a casserole dish mix with soup. Place Velveeta cut into slices over top. Crush crackers over top. Bake at 350 degrees until crackers are browned and cheese is melted.
