Korean Beef

I love this recipe. It’s sweet and salty. It’s just amazing. One thing I really like about this recipe is that we can put it in the freezer with the marinade and when we defrost it it’s instant marinade. It’s a great recipe!

1/4 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup (I use a little more) Pear

2 tablespoons sesame oil

3 cloves garlic

1/4 cup finely chopped onion

1 1/2 teaspoons minced ginger

1 tablespoon dark brown sugar

dash of pepper

Mix all ingredients and marinade for the day.

Cook on grill, in the oven, or stir fry,

  1. Hi Heather..Love the sound of this recipe..Is that pear as in eating pear? Juice or diced? Thank you for the follow…I clicked on to the link from WP to your gravatar it doesn’t link to your blog. I had to do a google search Lots of people won’t and you could lose a lot of followers. Mine was the same until someone pointed it out to me. Have a lovely day 🙂

    1. Yes just like a pear you eat. you can dice it, but I usually grate it. For myself it’s a texture thing…but in addition I do think that you get more flavor from it grated. Make sure to pour in the juice you get from it too. Thank you for telling me! I’ll have to figure out how to link the two! I adore your blog! Can’t wait to read more! Thanks for coming over my way 🙂

  2. This is the first recipe I clicked on coming to your blog and it looks and sounds tasty.. So tasty, I hit follow 😁
Looking forward to trying this when I go on my upcoming vacation.. I will put it to the grill 👍

      1. The time came happily sooner than I thought.. I was only able to marinate it 2hrs, so it doesn’t have that deep rich color like yours does.. But wow, it still came out crazy good ! I will be making this again.. Reblogged your post over on my site and separately made a post on how mine turned out.. This is easy and terrific.. I don’t get impressed easily, so please don’t think my words are just “being nice” .. I’m not that nice, or would bother with foo foo compliments 😄

      2. Yay! I’m so happy you love it! Mine marinated about 10 hours for this one. Thank you for reblogging! You’ve totally made my day!
